How long does the contract last?

SHA-256 and SCRYPT contracts last indefinitely but are subject to maintenance and electricity fees (MEF). The mining process will be stopped once the revenue gets smaller than the MEF, and if the mining becomes profitable within 21 days, the mining will be resumed.

ETHASH and DASH contracts last for 1 year (365 days) and are not subject to any fees.
